Your Personal Education Plan or PEP for short is very important. It is the time when you, and everyone who supports you, can discuss the progress you are making and decide what you need to help you succeed.

PEP Meetings usually happen every term and every child in care must have one.

You and your designated teacher, carer and social worker can come as well as anyone else who helps you with your education.

You have a chance to have your say at your PEP Meeting so tell your teachers or social worker if you want to be there.

If you don’t come to your PEP Meeting, tell your carers, teachers or social worker what you think you need to help you succeed. This will help them to make the right decisions at the Meeting.
